Our 100% organic linen and hemp fabric are naturally dyed. They are made by Couleur Chanvre. With Elise and Hélène, we chose the perfect colors to match each room’s unique atmosphere.

Our elegant and comfortable outdoor furniture is signed Divinejardine. Each piece is designed for l’Ermitage in collaboration with Violette and Prune.

It is in a splendid Basque farmhouse of Sare village that Laure Céramique made each piece of our tableware, one by one, in shades of green and beige.

We worked hand in hand with Jean-Michel and Marie Sasco, an inspired antiquarian couple with an expert eye. Together with them, we have diverted objects from their original use: lamps made with bowling legs or vintage printing rollers, old herbaria framed in wooden doors or shutters and other decorative elements of a unique style.

The Ermitage’s boutique was created with the help and valuable advice of Stéphane Rolland of Bibox, a brocanteur who unearthed the perfect furniture for the scenography and the presentation of our products.

The Acte 1 interior design shop in Biarritz provided our linen sofas from the local brand Home Spirit and some handmade pieces such as our wicker baskets.

Magnificent wool blankets will keep you warm in winter, Yolaine who runs Eaux & Forêts, weaves them with 100% recycled wool yarns from the nearby mountains Pyrenees.

Our towels are made with 100% organic cotton and linen.
Linen is everywhere in the regional tradition. In the 18th century, there were already up to 600 families of weavers between the Basque Country, Bigorre and especially Béarn. Tito Clémente creations perpetuate this tradition today in the Héléna boutique in Saint Jean de Luz.

We hope your visit at the Ermitage will add highlight to the talent of all these people and contribute to their success. Some of these items will be available in our shop.
