The bedrooms at l'Ermitage

The 5 stars  domain L’Ermitage has the spirit of a family home with upscale amenities, designed to accommodate groups of up to 14 people.

Our 7 spacious rooms, all decorated as warm and cozy suites. The bedding is of the highest quality, comparable to the best hotels. Each room is equipped with a king-size bed (180 centimeters) that can be separated into 2 twin beds, making it ideal for family vacations or trips with friends and children. The configuration of separate twin beds also suits seminars, weddings , or yoga retreats perfectly.

The level of comfort in our rooms has significantly contributed to the awarding of the 5-star label for L’Ermitage.

Five of our rooms feature private bathrooms with a shower and/or bathtub, along with organic shampoo/gel, high quality bath towels, and outdoor towels.

Two rooms located on the upper floor share a spacious bathroom with separate toilets. The upper floor rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The seventh room is a large suite, it has its own separate entrance and features a bathroom and separate toilet.

The layout of the Domain and its rooms has been carefully designed to prioritize your privacy while providing a complete immersion in harmony with nature. Direct access to the outdoor terrace is available from the ground floor rooms.

A unique identity has been created for each of the rooms.

In tribute to the history of L’Ermitage and its new owners, each room is named after a horse that holds or held significance in the lives of the owners, Agathe and François.

The decoration is meticulously done, and in each room, you will find a desk and storage spaces.

Paladine

This bedroom, adorned in reddish ochre, is named Paladine in tribute to Agathe’s first mare. Paladine was born at the Bordenave breeding farm located in Sames, the neighboring village of Hastingues. Paladine and Agathe embarked on their first  jumping competitions together.

Best sholo

Adorned in the color of pink sand, this room is named Best Sholo in tribute to a highly successful racehorse, victorious at Auteuil and Pau racing events. Best Sholo was trained in his early days by François and is now under the care of Louisa Carberry.

Vent du large

This slate-colored room is named “Vent du large” in tribute to the horse that Agathe rode in the Junior French Championships, under the coaching of Joël Pons, a renowned rider and friend.

Alary

This tea-blue colored room is named “Alary” in tribute to a racehorse bred and trained by François, who achieved significant accomplishments in the racing world, including finishing 3rd in the Grand Steeplechase de Paris, 2nd in the Prix la Haye Jousselin, and winning the Prix Violon 2.

Enjoy de keroue

“Baie d’Halong,” is dedicated to “Enjoy de Keroué,” a highly promising horse discovered and ridden by Maxime Livio with the aim of participating in some of the most prestigious international competitions.

Neptune de sartene

This Japanese blue-colored room is named “Neptune de Sartene” in tribute to a horse that qualified for the London Olympics and won a silver team medal at the European Championships in Luhmühlen, ridden by Nicolas Touzaint.
